We here at the Cavalcade o' Chemistry regularly donate to the Free Software Foundation and the Wikimedia Foundation. I also donate to the Linux Mint project and toward hosting Puppy Linux whenever I remember. If you've got a few extra bucks lying around, why not donate it toward a cause that you believe in, too?
  • A recommendation

Give your grandma a call.  She’s a really nice old lady and she’s probably waiting around wondering what her grandson/granddaughter are doing right now.  I mean, we all know she’s kind of old and boring, but it’s the right thing to do.  It’ll make her happy, and give her something to talk about with her bridge club, so why not call her now?
